Jason Dunlap, President of Advanced Designs, brings a breadth of experience that few design houses can compete with. Not only is Jason an expert designer, with more than 25 years of experience, he has worked as a manufacturing engineer and project manager in several diverse industries. His experience with medical instrumentation, RF and microwave radio systems, as well as product development of several consumer and commercial products, gives Jason a diversity of knowledge, experience and know-how needed to effectively design and layout today’s complex, state-of-the-art designs. His experience in the product development arena gives him insight on how to cost-effectively develop prototypes and arrange production for new product ideas. He knows where the experts are in Silicon Valley and will bring together effective electronic and mechanical design teams to work on your product.

Advanced Designs will accept all or any part of a product’s development. We can take your project from concept to shelf and offer a complete turnkey service, or just do the layout from your schematic. Tom Minnis, our staff Electronics Engineer, with more than 30 years design experience, Tom does circuit design; Jason and other expert level designers do layout and, in association and partnerships with local fabrication and assembly vendors, we give you the best pricing and highest quality prototypes. We also will negotiate the best pricing and services for production quantity fab and high-speed production, both domestic and offshore.

Since 1990, Advanced Designs has maintained a solid reputation for high quality and quick turnaround with well-known industry giants such as Agilent Technologies, Logitech, Anritsu and others. Prior to that, Jason was doing engineering and PCB layout before computerized software was invented for such companies as RCA, Coherent Radiation, Syntex Labs, General Instruments and others. Jason is now considered by some, one of the best Printed Circuit Board designers in Silicon Valley. He was a contender for the coveted Top Gun prize at the 2002 PCB Design Conference West, and has since designed some of the most complicated printed circuit board layouts for the United States Department of Defense. Most recently, his skills were commissioned for several state-of-the-art RF, microwave, and RF-mixed signal designs for the US Army. Some of those designs have laid the foundation for Department of Defense contracts, and other military applications. Jason continues to design PC boards for military applications, as well as some of the most complicated designs imaginable. Nothing is too complicated and regardless of the challenge, a solution will be found.

By keeping our operation small, we are efficient and flexible. We give you our personal attention and truly value your business. With so much experience behind us, you can be sure that we are qualified to give you the best possible PCB design services, as well as the highest quality.
