Advanced Designs began as a PCB Layout service company in 1994 when we were known as Advanced PCB Designs. The founder, Jason Dunlap, was an electronic engineer and PCB designer before there were sophisticated layout programs like PADS, Altium and Allegro. Advanced Designs incorporated in 2010 with expanded services that included turnkey fabrication and assembly, and, by 2015, Advanced Designs, Inc. grew to be an electronic product development services company, offering all the expert level technical services required to bring any electronic device or product, to the market, from concept to shelf in the most cost-effective manner.

Our core group of experienced, seasoned professionals are the foundation of our electronic design and manufacturing expertise. Jason Dunlap, Manufacturing Engineer and Entrepreneur, started his engineering career in 1968 in Silicon Valley, the heart of technical expertise, world-wide. Since then, he’s owned two electronic companies, Control Systems Technology, and Advanced Designs, Inc. Tom Minnis, our Director of Engineering, is the consummate Electronics Engineer with more than 30 years experience designing PC boards for state of the art electronic systems. Dennis Jump is our Director of Software Engineering. Dennis’ experience spans more than 30 years, having solved software challenges ranging from vehicle tracking systems, to Windows programming and having worked for premier companies such as Texas Instruments and Sperry-Univac. Both Tom and Dennis hold patents of various kinds making this team of professionals capable of putting top-notch technology teams together to handle any job.
